Thai Massage

Thai massage, also known as Nuad Thai or Thai yoga massage, is a traditional healing system combining acupressure, Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures. It originated in Thailand over 2,500 years ago and is rooted in Indian and Chinese medicine traditions.

Key Features

Clothed Treatment: Clients remain fully clothed in loose, comfortable clothing.

No Oil: Unlike Swedish or deep tissue massage, Thai massage is typically performed without oils.

Mat-Based: It’s often done on a padded mat on the floor rather than a massage table.

Movement-Based: The practitioner guides the client through passive stretches and poses, similar to yoga.

Pressure Points: Uses hands, thumbs, elbows, knees, and feet to apply rhythmic pressure along Sen lines (energy pathways).
